We're looking for full-time trained Service Coordinators to provide services
to families who have differently-abled children living in the communities of NYC.
We expect our Service Coordinators to follow certain responsibilities, which includes:
- Work with other Service Coordinators to get the care each families need
- Know the multidisciplinary developmental evaluations (MDE) and explain them to families
- Properly implementing the information needed to make an IFSP for each family.

Applicants who are interested must have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Human Services, Education, or a related field
- Literate with Computer, which uses NY State online services authorization and IFSP meetings
- Strong oral communication and written skills
- Excellent interpersonal Skills

Job Title: Translator

Job Requirements: Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Foreign Language Study, English, or TESOL plus 6 months experience in job offered. Require skills and knowledge of Mandarin Chinese.

Job Descriptions: Interpret and translate from Chinese to English and English to Chinese for our social workers, psychiatrists, professional staff and the new immigrant families and students participating in New York State early intervention program; Accurately translate and communicate early intervention evaluations, diagnoses, treatment plans, and discussions with the students’ families; Provide simultaneous and consecutive interpretation services in our programs; Provide interpretation services during examination of infants and toddlers for physical, social, psychological, and mental development; Translate in culturally sensitive methods and facilitate the communication between the parents and the social workers (EI interventionists and EI official designees about the need for health and educational services and about the eligibility of clinical services; Translate confidential documents and other material such as social workers’ reports, evaluations, results, applications, analysis, and recommendation in writing; Accompany clinical therapists, social workers or other staff members in need of interpreting services; Travel with families, social workers, psychiatrists and any other personnel engaged in our programs and provide simultaneous translation; Translate our promotional materials for use in media and on the Internet; Manage cultural diversity issues and translation between families, program providers, and health care providers.
